The Klinker Brick Winery on N. Alpine Road gave us access to their property this morning to set up several portable radio stations and raise a few antennas. Among the end-fed half waves, John Litz (NZ6Q) showed off his new BuddiHex antenna. With minimal effort and time, John was making DX contacts and mentoring new hams like Nancy Robertson (KK6WOW).
Events like this give our Club members the opportunity to test their emergency operations skills and enjoy a few hours on a beautiful day in Lodi.
