Expedition? … Well, let’s call it a “day” trip to New Hogan Lake near Valley Springs, CA. Rick (N6DT) and Mike (K6AAN) set up on a high point (Summits on the Air) as “activators” in a qualified park (Parks on the Air) to make contacts with so called “chasers”.
They worked 20 meters with a FlexRadio 6400 and a Wolf River vertical antenna. Rick bragged “If we heard them, we worked them” with 58/59 reports.
